Entry Fee, Add-Ons, & Payouts
□ Amateur: $30 per player ($20 to merch. payouts + $10 to CFO)
□ Pro: $35 per player ($25 to cash payouts + $10 to CFO)
□ Ace, 50/50, Brotation Add-on package: $10 per player ($6 to 50/50 Cash CTP + $4 to Ace)
Each player who purchases an add-on package also receives 1 Brotation, which can be used in Round 2 to change the alternate shot order. If no Ace is hit in Round 1, a CTP flag will be placed on a hole for players in the Ace pool. If no Ace is hit in Round 2, the result of the CTP contest will be used to award half the Ace pool.
All amateur payouts will be fulfilled by Disc Crazy. Players will be able to redeem their prize vouchers on-site or at Disc Crazy’s retail location at 8430 Castleton Corner Dr.
All professional payouts will be sent via the electronic payment processing platform PayPal within two days of event completion.
Contest Format
Round 1 is best-shot format: both players on a team attempt throws from each lie until the hole is completed. For each set of throw attempts that do not complete the hole, team players then choose a throw result to continue play from. Team players may also “split” the throw results and each choose to play from a different lie.
Round 2 is alternating-tee, alternate-shot format: for each team, one player tees on “evens” and the other player tees on “odds,” meaning tee order is predetermined and does not change based on who finished the previous hole. After one player tees, play continues in alternate-shot format until the hole is complete. For example: for a team with Players A and B, if Player A throws the tee shot, Player B would throw the team’s next shot from the resulting lie. If Player B’s shot does not complete the hole, then Player A would throw the team’s next shot from the resulting lie. No matter which player finishes the hole, Player B would tee on the following hole because Player A was last to tee.
The Brotation
Any player that purchased the add-on package receives one "brotation" to use during Round 2. For any shot in Round 2 when it is their turn, a player may use their brotation to rotate their teammate in to take the shot. After the rotation, play continues as alternate shot until the hole is completed. If a player uses a brotation on a tee shot, then tee order changes for the following holes. If a player uses a brotation on a non-tee shot, then tee order is not changed for the following holes.
