About this tournament
Come and Join us for Naked Acres Race in Space Vol.4 Sponsored by MVP Disc Sports . MVP Space Race will be back with two Eclipse disc! TBA on what discs will be realased!
The layout is more of a putting course to increase the chances of getting an Ace. It will not be the classic Naked acres layout but we will be using most of the baskets with some added Targets.
________________________________________________________________________________________
TBA On the schedule and if we will start in the day like last year.
Just getting this date out there for all of you to know ahead!
__________________________________________________________________________________________
In a Space Race you take turns throwing each disc at the basket trying to hit a Ace! You will score by hitting metal, chains or getting a Ace! We will be scoring on Udisc and it will be the same score difference between each point. Most Ace races scored with points awarded based on metal hits and Aces.
-Metal hit is 1 point (ie. pole or basket)
-Chain or band hit is 3 points (ie. chains or above)
-Ace hit is 5 points (ie. supported by the chains or basket)
Previous years UDisc dosn't like this way of scoring as sometimes you wouldn't enter a score on a hole.
This year will always be scoring on each hole and it will be the opposite of the normal scoring. You will be trying to get the highest score this year. Each Hole will be a Par 2
Ace: 6
Chains/Band: 4
Metal/Basket: 2
No Metal: 1
So When you throw your 2 discs you add up your points from above. Most points at the end of the round wins! TBA on Prizes besides that there will be an Optional Ace Pot, Best Score on a hole, and a box of discs to give away for good scores.
The Ace Division is for Players competing for the Ace pot and to be crowned Space Ace Champion!
50% of the Ace pot will go to the player that gets the most points overall. The other 50% of the Ace pot will go to the player with the most Aces hit. The same person cannot get both ace pots In the event of a tie for either there will be a playoff!
You have an opportunity to support this event and get creative if you want! You can now sponsor a hole. You can choose two different ways to Sponsor a hole
20 Holes available to Sponsor
Tier 1- Support with Lighting up a hole with your own lights/decorations and batteries
Tier 2- Support with Money donation for batteries or New lights
