About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Friends of Punderson Disc Golf is proud to host the NEO 2017 Frozen Fingers Fund Raising Tour - Grand Finale!
We will be playing 2 rounds of disc golf (Course layout TBD) in some potentially challenging weather conditions. Pick your poison: the coarse, the weather or Pine Lake? Chances are, one of 'em will getcha!
As the flyer states, lunch will be pot luck. We will update you on the location of Tournament Headquarters once it is determined. If we have HQ at the course, we may not have electricity. If you have a small (quiet) generator, please let us know and we can update everyone on the availability of power. There has been some awesome food at the previous events, so let us know if you'd like to help out. We will have tournament staff on-hand to mind the equipment during play, so not to worry.
If the weather requires (and likely will), we'll have a fire going to unfreeze those frozen fingers.
Hope to see you there!
***Update 3/20
Headquarters will be at the Marina Pavilion. When you enter the park, stay straight and follow the park signs to the marina. When you descend down the last hill to the marina, you will see the pavilion off to the left. Turn left across the street from the marina and park. We will probably fill the lot, so please park in a courteous manner to get as many cars in as possible. Spill-over can park across the street at the marina, with a longer walk.
The pavilion has some electricity and I think we will have a couple small generators also for the food devices needing it. Joel Garner has kindly offered his sheeting to wrap the pavilion, so please help us thank him for that.
It is a little early in the week to tell exactly what the weather will be like, but have no doubt, IT WILL BE MUDDY, so come prepared. Punderson in late winter, early spring, can be one of the muddiest places around. So come on out with your galoshes and your goulashes and have some fun!
