About this tournament

The NCWV Dual Shoot Out (non-sanctioned) bring your own partner doubles tournament.


Teams register in the on Disc Golf Scene comments section and pay the day of tournament. Each team will have a choice of three divisions to enter (Recrational, Advanced & Open)


Twenty percent will be deducted and given to the Fairmont Flyers in an effort to help raise money for the Seth Burton Memorial.

Open: $100 ($80/$20)
Advanced: $80 ($64/$16)
Recreational $60 ($48/$12)

Ace Fund: $5

If no one hits an ace during tournament play, all who entered will throw off and closest to the pin will take the cash.

First Round:

The advanced and open divisions will play on the Orange Crush long tees to orange baskets (Modified Best Shot). The recreational division will play Seth Burton short tees to gold baskets (Modified Best Shot).

Modified Best Shot: You can not take one team mate's shot three consecutive times, on the third shot the other team member must take shot.

Lunch will be avaiable for purchase at the pavillion. $1 from each lunch meal purchased will be donated to the Seth Burton Memorial Disc Golf Tournament Fund.

Second Round:

The advanced and open divisions will play on the Seth Burton long tees to gold baskets (Alternate Tee Shot). The recreational division will play Orange Crush short tees to orange baskets (Alternate Tee Shot).

Alternate Tee Shot : Each hole team members alternate who tees off.


NCWV Dual Shootout is a fundraiser for the Seth Burton Memorial Disc Golf Tournament. Twenty-percent of all entry fees will go to the Seth Burton Memorial Tournament. The remainder of the entry fee will go directly to respective divisions. The recreational and advanced divisions will be paid in merchandise. Open division will have cash payouts. Payout percentages will mimic the PDGA Pay Tables based of paying out 50% of the field.
