Is anyone else able to get on the waitlist? I'm not seeing this option.

Chip Frink   May 26, 2020 at 6:35pm

I have not reopened wait list as of yet, Stay tuned Markham, Ive been following the CA govt directives re sporting events, Phase 3. Looks like it could be early June. When that happens, our event sanctioning will be reinstated and that is when I will reopen waitlist.

Chip Frink   June 9, 2020 at 10:42pm

Waitlist reopening Thursday June 11th at 8:00 a.m.

Chip Frink    March 28, 2020 at 2:56am

Tomorrow A.M. there should be !44 disc golfers at Browns and Bows Disc Golf Courses for an Innaugural NADGT event. I am hugely disappointed that this event will not be happening tomorrow. I look forward to seeing all of you at our rescheduled event on Sat, July 11th at Browns!

I am communicating regularly with Dave Feldberg, just got off the phone again, and we are working thru this. It is very fluid situation. Once i have more information we will be able to make better decisions re refunds.

Chip Frink    March 17, 2020 at 5:03pm

since PDGA has suspended their sanctioning, we are working on running the event as non sanctioned, stay tuned for more details

Steven Morton    March 17, 2020 at 4:07pm

How does the PDGA's suspension of sanctioning events impact this event? Are you still going to run it if it isn't a sanctioned event?

Chip Frink   March 17, 2020 at 5:44pm

We are working on postponing until mid July, too many working parts and unknown repercussions

Jeremy Cole    March 17, 2020 at 3:58pm

I wont remove any reg or waitlisted players at this time unless you are certain you wont be able to attend. We are using PDGA guidlines from this

Chip Frink   March 18, 2020 at 2:31am

for this

Jeremy Cole   March 18, 2020 at 1:17pm

sounds good thanks Chip hopefully we can play after all this is done

Chip Frink    March 16, 2020 at 9:06pm

In order to comply with CDC and POTUS recommendations we will change the format from shotgun start to tee times. (no group larger than 4somes, maybe some 5s) I will have them done in the next couple of days, and they will be posted here (DGS) and on PDGA website. Thanks for your patience and understanding. I am processing any WDs as soon as I receive them.

YES Charter Academy (Oregon House Ca.) is trying to put a disk golf course on our 10 acre campus for the kids to use during PE and recess and fundraising events. Gregg Barsby and his father John have helped us plot the course. Is it possible we could set up a booth at the tournament to let the Disk Golf community know what we are trying to do? We are looking for a few sponsors to help us purchase the course and install it for the next school year.

FYI, please check the updated reg list, there have been several withdrawals for various reasons. If someone in your division wds you will be promoted automatically and will receive an email regarding your updated registration. if there are none on the w/l in your division I use the date of your reg to promote the next player. Tell your friends who are on the waiting list for info.

Mark Brown, owner of Browns and Bows, is fully intending, along with myself and other tournament staff, to hold the tournament as scheduled. He will be providing all attendees a certified N95 facemask and pair of rubber gloves, we will also have hand sanitizer and hand soap widely available for all players and staff.

As wait-list #3 for MA2, do I have a shot to get in the tournament?

Chip Frink   March 15, 2020 at 5:30am

we still have two weeks and there is a lot of uncertainty in peoples mind under our current nat'l health crisis. I will accept and process withdrawals until Friday 3/27. If there are WDs in your division you automatically be promoted the official reg list. Still wait and see at this time, not unlike any wait list situation.

Chip Frink   March 15, 2020 at 5:32am

promoted to reg list after #1 and #2 have been added, Good Luck
