20th Motor City Open which is a Featured Event offering 18 berths to the State Finals.
A berth will be awarded to every division with at least three people.
Two rounds of 18 will be played omitting the field holes (16-21) playing 1-15,22-24.
R1: All Open, MA1,MA2,All age protected,FA1 will play from the longs. Everyone else plays from the shorts.
R2: All Open,MA1 and FA1 play from the longs. Everyone else plays from the shorts.
If you win a berth after saying yes, please let me know. Also, last chance to let me know if you need a berth is when registration ends at 0815.

MINIMUM OF 3 PER DIVISION (WOMEN AND Jr's excluded) I will add any division based on this.
You can change your division yourself, no need to post about it. This can be done from the players tab on here, your profile, or the email from registration.
Payouts will be provided using the standard PDGA payout scale. Amateur payouts will be provided by Disc Baron in the form of coupons/vouchers to Disc Baron online store www.discbaron.com. Coupons/vouchers will be distributed via email after the event is complete. Payouts must be claimed online or at the Disc Baron Mobile Store. Day of Payouts will not be available. Winners will have until 12/11/21 to redeem their payout. Coupons/vouchers must be used in one transaction and no change will be provided.
ANY AND ALL CASH WINNINGS WILL BE PAID OUT VIA PAYPAL NO EXCEPTIONS
PDGA Digital Scorecard will be utilized for not only your score card but a way to communicate when round 1 and 2 will tee off. I believe the digital score card won't be visible until a couple days before the event.
We are pleased to be working with Disc Baron this year for all of our sanctioned events. Disc Baron is well known in Michigan for his elite events and outstanding customer service. A minimum of 5 events must be played to qualify for the end of the series payouts. Series Payouts will be issued via no later than 10-1-21. Pro Divisions will be via PayPal and Am Divisions via Email. (This may be adjusted based upon additional events) Lucky for you the Motor City Chain Gang is doing FOUR events with him and there are others not too far away! There is a $3 series fee per player and the standard PDGA fee's (they vary from $2-5 based on tier) these will be your only deductions.
Once registration closes August 5th at 1200am I will refund everyone on the wait list and will not allow walk ups day of. If you request a refund after registration closes you will receive your full refund minus a $5 fee provided we can replace you with someone from the waitlist.
PDGA Refund policy:
1.03 Withdrawals and Refunds
A. Players MUST email or phone their withdrawals to the Tournament Director only at the contact information posted for the tournament. Discussions with persons other than the Tournament Director, including other tournament staff, shall not be considered official.
B. Players who have paid MORE than a nominal waitlist fee of $10 to be on an event’s waitlist who do not get into the event, or who officially request to withdraw from the waitlist prior to the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements (within one week is recommended), will receive a 100% cash refund minus the $10 waitlist fee. Waitlist players who ONLY paid a nominal non-refundable waitlist fee of $10 will not receive a refund.
C. Players who officially request to withdraw from an event at least 30 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% cash refund (minus up to a $10 handling fee).
D. Players who officially request to withdraw from an event 15 to 29 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% cash refund minus up to a $10 handling fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through either the waitlist or a walk-up entry (if offered). If the player’s spot is NOT filled, the TD has the choice to provide EITHER a 50% cash refund OR just the player’s pack the player would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping). In the case of a player in a Pro division for an event without a Pro player pack worth at least 25% of the Entry Fee, the TD will provide the 50% cash refund.
E. Players who officially request to withdraw from an event within 14 days of the start of the event and prior to the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements (within one week is recommended) will receive a 100% cash refund minus up to a $10 handling fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through either the waitlist or a walk-up entry (if offered). If the player’s spot is NOT filled, the TD has the choice to provide EITHER a 25% cash refund OR just the player’s pack they would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping). In the case of a player in a Pro division for an event without a Pro player pack worth at least 25% of the Entry Fee, the TD will provide the 25% cash refund.
F. Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from a registered spot playing in the event prior to the published closure of registration and waitlist replacements and don’t play (aka a no-show), forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player’s pack. (This does NOT apply to a waitlist player; see 1.03.B above.)
