Welcome to the First Annual Charro Classic! 2525 W Alton Gloor Brownsville Texas
We are excited to announce that the Rio Grande Valley is beginning to embrace the sport of disc golf and are asking our fellow disc golfers to come out and support this event.
To kick off our First Annual Charro Classic, Jumputt is hosting a DOUBLES match Friday February 24th, 2017. There will only be amateur and open categories for DOUBLES at $20 and $40 respectively with a flex start between 10am-2pm. 100% Payout (1st = 50%, 2nd = 30%, 3rd = 20%)
Onsite registration will be held on Friday during DOUBLES and on Saturday between 7am-8am. Fees are as follows:
OPEN: $60 AM: Recreational and Intermediate Division = $30 Advanced Division = $40
For open division, there will be an added $500 cash. There must be at least 8 open players for added cash to be included. Payout will follow PDGA payout regulations. 100% Payout
For amateur division, all players will receive a player’s pack consisting of a tournament stamped dry-fit shirt, a tournament stamped disc, mini, coupons, and other surprisesïŠ
Evian waters have been donated and will be placed at holes 7, 14, and headquarters.
Player’s meeting will be held at 8:30am Saturday morning.
Round 1 (21 Holes) will begin 9:15am
Advanced Men/Women and Open Men/Women Blue Tees
All other Divisions White Tees
Lunch will be provided for ALL players (Brisket sandwich, chips, drink, and fruit)
Round 2 will begin 2pm

Raffles and Games 6:00pm-7pm
Closing ceremony will be at 7pm
Brownsville celebrates its annual Charro Day’s festivities during the same weekend so players can choose to enjoy the evening festivities after disc golfing.
