About this tournament

Welcome to Monarch Madness!

We will be hosting a 1 day Pro/AM C-Tier tournament on the smaller of the two courses at Monarch Bay Golf Course, also known as the Marina course.

We'll play the regular layout with only a few modifications for the tournament. Same layout for all divisions, same layout both rounds.

Great players package for Ams only. Jealous Pros will have to buy one from an Am.

$15.00 of each entry fee goes to the golf course for green fees. Basically, we're getting two rounds for the price of one.

Initially, Pro registration is capped at 28 players and Am registration is capped at 56 players. The caps will be removed two weeks before the tournament.

Minimum 3 players required to form a division. If your division is too small because of a no-show, you'll be bumped up to the closest suitable division. If the entry fee is higher in that division, we'll waive the difference.

First round, we'll mix divisions on all cards. The second round, we'll have division only cards as much as possible.

After the 2nd round, while scores are being calculated, we'll have games with cash prizes -- multiple rings of fire, two rounds of CTP. No raffle.

Cash and trophies for Pro divisions. Whirlwind scrip and trophies for Amateur divisions. Guaranteed at least 100% payout in all divisions, shooting for more.

No lunch provided. The golf course has a grill and bar. There are several fast food options within two miles. No outside food or drink on the course -- except at the tables during lunch.

No carts provided or permitted for tournament play. The course is flat overall, easy to walk, only about 5 minutes to walk end-to-end. Carts would only slow us down.

You can park in the big lot by the driving range and clubhouse, or in the smaller lot along the course fence.

For a warm-up, there are two driving nets at the course that we will have set up. There is a big park across the street with room to throw in the morning, before the crowds arrive as well. We also will have a couple of practice putting baskets close to tournament central available to use.

This tournament will happen, rain or shine.
