About this tournament

2 round mini match round robin event.
3$ to play, 2$ ace pot, 1$ CTP - payable at event.

This is replacing Nampa Weekly DUBS this week, we will play DUBS if we do not get a proper number of players (16, 20, or 24).

Please register if you think you will be there.

Event format not finalized but will look something like:
Long story short, two rounds of 9 holes, 6 total opponents (or more if you are in the top 4 at the end).

Long story long, 3 - 3 hole matches per round, one per other person on your card. You will play every hole, and score every hole. (3-0 is better than 2-0-1 or 2-1-0, for example). Between rounds, we will regroup, and re-card based on points (I'm working on the algorithm and to have a spreadsheet ready for quick data entry). Top 4 (or 6 if 24) will play 1 hole playoffs, if a hole is tied, it goes to the CTP drive for the hole. - All subject to change, I'm ironing out details...

If your head hurts, don't think too hard about it, just show up and play, I'll have color coded cards, the idea is to be an easy to play event (but hard to TD).

As always, 3$ to play, 2$ ace pot, 1$ CTP (first 2 rounds only for the CTP).

Only read this if you want to acquire my headache.

For anyone still confused, player 1 will play holes 1-3 against player 2, and player 3 and 4 will play those holes, then P1 will play P3 and P2 will play P4 for holes 3-6, and so on and so forth.

I'm trying to eliminate the possibility that anyone from your first round card is on your second round card. If there is a meaningful tie between rounds, there will be a one hole match/ctp (if hole is tied).

For the first round, each hole will be 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie. Each mini-match will be 5 points for a win, 2 points for a tie. So a 'perfect round' is 42 points (I may also add a 2$/4$/5$ pot for the highest round score for the day).

Cards will be assigned based on points, second round the points will be weighted based on what card you are on, most points for the top card, the top 4 (or 6 if 24 players) will play a single hole match (ctp tiebreak) to determine places 1-4/6. (If there are 6, the top 2 players will get a bye, and the lowest seed from the 'quarter finals' will play the #1, and the higher seed making it out of the quarters will play #2), then the winners and losers will both play each other to determine 1-4/6.
