Player's Meeting. This is mandatory. Please make it.

Round 1 will be a little different for MA1 and MPO, but otherwise should be about 2 hours with small pools playing the course.
12:00pm - 1:00pm
Lunch on your own. I considered cooking out for everyone, but I don't have a vehicle that I can load a decent sized grill into.

Payouts will be processed as everyone comes in because I KNOW y'all wanna get outta here.

Welcome back to the 3rd Annual Memorial Day Open!
I'm excited to work with Pathfinder Disc Golf for this event, and look forward to its continued success. This event is as straightforward as a C tier can get:
2 rounds, Shotgun Start
Pool A (MPO, MA1, FPO) will play Champ Side 2x
Pool B (ALL Others) will play Rec Side 2x
Pool C (MA40, MA2, FA1) will play both Courses.
As a general note, the reason I set things up this way is because of the general division sizes we see across Southern Illinois. We usually don't have a lot of MA2 players, but a lot of MA3 and MA4 players, so by having a pool that plays both courses, it helps prevent some serious logistical messes.
I will always take registrations down to the final minutes, because I do not offer player packs(keeps me from having to purchase things you may or may not want well ahead of time, and then being stuck with leftovers. Centralia can accommodate a lot of players, and I never know if an event will have 20 players or 135).
I'm actually changing how payouts will occur for this event!
All Pros will be paid out to the Top 40% of players
MA1, MA2, MA40, FA1, FA2 will be paid out to the Top 45% of players
All others will be paid out to the Top 75% of players.
There are currently no plans to cancel this event, and I may even go grab stuff to feed y'all for lunch! When we have smaller, easier to manage events I always want to show everyone that I appreciate the intimacy of it all. I've lost several friends in the military, and I know several servicemen who have lost brothers in arms as well. I also have wonderful friends who served and take a lot of pride in their military time. We honor the sacrifice and enjoy the time together as a community on days like this.
