Welcome to the 10th annual Mid-Summer Meltdown hosted by BCDGA and Rob's Dry Sacs. This event will be held at Graham Creek Nature Preserve at 23030 Wolf Bay Dr. Foley, Al 36535. This will be a 1 day, 2 sanctioned rounds, c-tier event. Tournament central will be at the Interpretive Center. Check-ins will be from 7:30am- 8:30am with a brief players meeting following. Shotgun start time for everyone will be at 9am.
Courses to be used: Pecan Hollow, The Preserve, Pitcher Plant, and The Prairie. ( This could change based of how many players we have)
Pool A consist of MPO, MP40, MP50, MP60, MA1 and is scheduled to play Preserve 1st rd and Pecan 2nd rd from blues.
FPO, FP40, FP50, FP60 will play the same courses but from whites.
Pool B consist of MA40, MA2, MA3, FA1, FA2, FA40 and is scheduled to play Pitcher Plant 1st rd and The Preserve 2nd rd both from the whites.
Pool C consist of MA4, MA50, MA60, MA70, FA3, FA4, FA50, FA60, FA70, MJ18, MJ15, FJ18, FJ15 and is scheduled to play The Prairie 1st rd from reds/whites and The Pitcher Plant 2nd rd from the whites.
$250 added cash for the Pro.
1 tournament stamped and 1 shirt for amateur packs.
3-5 players will have 1st place trophy only in each division.
6-9 players will have 1st and 2nd place trophies in each division.
10+ players will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies in each division.
Payouts will be top 40% for pros and top 45% for ams in each division. (We're aiming to have beefier payouts for the ams)
There will be a one hour lunch starting from when the last card is turned in after the 1st round.
Side games will include Skittles and a Putting challenge. There will be a $5 ace pot and raffles as well.
Sponsors are always appreciated. $30 for a tee sign, $50 for 2 tee signs, $100 for $3 tee signs and your name or logo on the back of the tournament shirt.
