Welcome to the Mid May Melee presented by MVP Disc Sports, the first two-day event held at Cotswold View Disc Golf Course in Charlbury, Oxfordshire.


This event is on the BDGA Amateur tour - meaning that there are British Championships invites available for the winner of MA2, MA3, FA2, and FA3 divisions.

You will also gain points in your seasonal point race, excluding MA4 and FA4.

The format of the event is as follows:

Saturday: 2x18 hole rounds on a modified Blue course. You will play both rounds in the same group of 4 players, with a Tee Time start format.

Sunday: 1x18 hole round shotgun start for all 90 players in groups of 5 on the same course layout followed by a 9 hole "finals" for the top 5 in each division.

There will not be a final for divisions with 4 or fewer players.

The cost of the tournament is £45.00 for all players. This will get you the following:

- At least 54 holes of PDGA sanctioned Disc Golf
- One triple-foil stamped premium plastic disc featuring the tournament artwork produced by Katy Sluman, RRP £20.00
- MVP branded items in the player's pack in addition to the disc
- Exclusive use of the Disc Golf course for both days (closed to the campsite)
- Parking, Signage, use of campsite Toilet Facilities, and Staffing provided by Cotswold View
- Access to trophies and prizes

Please note that out of your £45 entry, £20 will go towards greens fees at Cotswold View. We are reassured that some of this money will be used to improve the course, and we're hopeful that there may at some point be new tee pads in place!

The rest will cover players packs, payouts, and sanctioning costs - there will be no fee taken by Don't Shoot.

Refund policy

Refunds will be processed if the withdrawing player's place is filled. If not, a refund will sadly not be possible at this time as per the PDGA guidance.
If a refund is not processed, you will receive your full players' pack in the post.
