Welcome to the Michigan Professionals Distance Competition
This will be very simple. Before/After your round, whenever you choose, you may take your shot. Time is decided BY YOU! Anywhere from Noon until Sunset. You will check in, then throw.
You can rebuy, as many times as you see fit.
You can register day of. You do NOT need to be in the Michigan Professional State Championships to enter into this or the putting competition.
Each entry into the competition will get 3 throws to achieve the farthest distance they can. Players will throw from the basketball courts onto the softball field. Top 5 THROWS will advance to the finals the following day. Which means if you throw the farthest and 2nd farthest, only 4 players will advance(you and 3 others potentially). Minimum of 3 participants will move on to finals the following day.
Measuring will be in a straight line, left to right distance will not be measured(You throw 550 ft, but are 100 ft left, an opponent throws 551 ft in a straight line from tee off. 551 will advance)
Saturday, after the rounds are completed at Freeland, Finalists will tee off from top of the hill towards the Softball field, to determine winner. Flags will be set for measuring reference points
Top 3 will be paid out per division. Added cash is $50 to Males, $50 to Females.
