Welcome back to Mega-Death Putt!
Join us the weekend before Halloween for Mega-Death Putt IV, a 2-round unsanctioned tournament on the Pitch & Putt course.
This event will use a shotgun start with a Player's Meeting before and a Player's Party after to include extra games/contests and drink specials. Stay tuned for more details about the added bonus contests and games!

LAYOUTS:
Shotgun Start for both rounds.
1st Round: Standard 18-hole Pitch & Putt Layout, tee off at 12pm.
2nd Round: Safari layout

DIVISIONS:
Divisions for this event will be ratings based to help group players by skill while also limiting divisions to offer larger payouts. If you don't have a PDGA rating, contact us for help picking which division would best suit your skill level. As per normal PDGA guidelines, players can always play in divisions above their rating (just not below).

PRIZES & AWARDS:
Players who place in the top 50% of each division will receive scrip/pro shop store credit that will be loaded onto gift cards that never expire. Trophies will also be awarded to 1st place in each division. Players will have 90 days after the event to pick up player packs, trophies, prizes, and any winnings. After 90 days, the items will be forfeited. If you sign up for a division that has no other players in it within 14 days of the event, a trophy may not be available based on ability to complete it in short notice.

TEE TIMES & STARTING HOLES:
This event will use a shotgun start for both rounds 1 and 2 with a brief break between. Cards and hole assignments are chosen during registration, and displayed at the bottom of the Registered Players tab on discgolfscene.com.

SCORING:
Scoring for rounds 1 and 2 will be handled using the UDisc app.
To keep score, you must have a UDisc account (free or pro version). Please provide your UDisc username during registration in the field provided so you can be added to the UDisc event and scoring can be enabled properly. If you don't have a UDisc account already, sign up for a free account at udisc.com.
At least 1 player per card must keep score using UDisc Event scoring. A 2nd player should keep a backup scorecard also using UDisc, or another method.

ACE POT:
Optional $5 entry for the Ace Pot is available. Mega Death Putt will have a stand alone event Ace pot and will not be combined or rolled over to our other tournament Ace Pot.
Total number of aces will be counted for rounds 1 and 2, the player(s) with the most Aces wins the pot. In the event of a tie, the pot will be split evenly between those players.

PLAYER'S MEETING:
Players should check in inside the clubhouse no later than 11:15am. There will be a Player's Meeting at 11:30am, location TBA.

PLAYER'S PARTY + BONUS CONTESTS (behind the clubhouse near the practice baskets):
Join us for the Player's Party around 3pm (following the completion of the 2nd round) for awards, raffle and costume contest. Plus, drink specials in the Pro Shop!
COSTUME CONTEST: Winning costume (or costumes) will receive 2 days passes. Winners will be chosen by DGR staff.
RING OF FIRE: Putting contest where everyone putts at the same time, winners go on until there is only one putter standing! Winner Receives a $25 Gift Card. Will take place behind the clubhouse on one of the practice baskets.
Raffle is available to anybody, not just Mega-Death competitors. Head to the pro shop to purchase tickets. Raffle Tickets are 1 ticket for $1, 12 tickets for $10 or 25 tickets for $20

FOOD & DRINK OPTIONS:
A variety of snacks are available for purchase in the Pro Shop, as well as non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks which can be consumed anywhere on the property. Outside alcohol is prohibited due to our alcohol license. ANY ALCOHOL MUST BE PURCHASED ON-SITE.

Refund policy
Disc Golf Resort LLC is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. All refund requests must be made through discgolfscene.com.
The PDGA's Competition Manual Policy for Withdrawals & Refunds (1.03) will be followed. See below for a quick reference.
Players who officially request to withdraw from the event at least 30 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee (minus the discgolfscene.com processing fee).
Players who officially request to withdraw from the event 15 to 29 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee minus the discgolfscene.com processing fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is NOT filled, we will provide a 50% monetary refund of the entry fee.
Players who officially request to withdraw from the event within 14 days of the start of the event and prior to the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements will receive a 100% cash monetary refund minus the discgolfscene.com processing fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is NOT filled, we will provide a 25% monetary refund of the entry fee.
