    8:30am - 8:45am

    Mandatory Player Meeting : We will discuss rules, layout, and pertinent day-of information and go over any questions.

    9:00am - 12:00pm

    Round 1 Starts - Shotgun
    We will blow a horn with two short blasts at the 2 minute warning, and you will hear the giant 'Merica "hell ya brother" fireworks go off to start the round. Scoring password is : LEGIT

    We will have a 1hr break between rounds for lunch, with the 1hr starting from the time we receive the last card.

    There will be food trucks and ice cream trucks available on-site!

    Awards and payout will be available within 10 minutes of your division's last card completing round 2.

The City of McGregor is super excited about bringing a yearly disc golf tournament to town and having players visit the city and park. They have been so helpful in getting the course put in and better yet, making sure they are proactive in changes to be made and updates. They want disc golf to grow in McGregor and are looking to host a WACO caliber event in the future.

We think thats music to our ears, because finding a city board that excited about disc golf is special and we want to foster a great relationship with that spirit in mind.

So, WELCOME to the 8th Annual McGregor 'Merica Open!

This is a : 2 Round / One Day / Pro-Am / PDGA Sanctioned Tournament hosted at Amsler Park in McGregor, Texas.
AMATEURS PLAY ON SATURDAY, JULY 5TH.
PROS PLAY ON SUNDAY, JULY 6TH.

Amsler is an 18 hole course with 9 baskets. Each basket has 2 tee pads that create 2 distinctly different holes. It plays along a winding creek most of the way with water coming into play on a few holes. It is wonderfully designed with just the right amount of challenge while still being great fun to play.

Amateurs will receive player packs and merch payout. Pros will receive no player pack, and payout will be distributed via paypal.

There is a $5 ace pot. If no ace is hit, all divisions each day will CTP for the cash after the 2nd round!

MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5 PLAYERS TO MAKE A DIVISION.
If at least 5 players do not sign up for your division, you may be given the choice of moving divisions or others may be asked to move to your division or you may cancel with a full refund, whichever you prefer.

Refund policy

Players who officially request to withdraw from an event prior to 30 days of the start of the event will receive a 100% cash refund (minus up to a $10 handling
fee.)

Players who officially request to withdraw from an event at 15 to 30 days from the start of the event will receive a 100% cash refund minus up to a $10
handling fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through either the waitlist or a walkup entry (if offered). If the player's spot is NOT filled, the TD has
the choice to provide EITHER a 50% cash refund OR just the player's pack the player would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping.)
In the case of a player in a Pro division for an event without a Pro player pack worth at least 25% of the Entry Fee, the TD will provide the 50% cash refund.

Players who officially request to withdraw from an event at 14 or less days from the start of the event and prior to the events published closure of registration
and waitlist replacements (1 week or less prior to the event is recommended) will receive a 100% cash refund minus up to a $10 handling fee ONLY if their
spot in the tournament is filled through either the waitlist or a walkup entry (if offered.) If the player's spot is NOT filled, the TD has the choice to provide
EITHER a 25% cash refund OR just the player's pack they would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping.) In the case of a player in a
Pro division for an event without a Pro player pack worth at least 25% of the Entry Fee, the TD will provide the 25% cash refund.

Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from a registered spot playing in the event prior to the published closure of registration and waitlist
replacements or don't show to play (aka a no-show), forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or players pack. (This does NOT apply to a waitlist
player, see B above.)
