CHANGE TO START TIME- To accommodate the glory and start of the Kinetic Sculpture Race at Noon in Arcata, the players' meeting will be at 2 pm. Get there early so we are ready to go after the players meeting!

May Monthly Rules:
1: 5-speed discs and slower only. This is a technical, wooded course, so the challenge is to disc down, stay in the fairway, and stick the landing zones. This ins't Beau Pre, it's OK to leave your drivers at home. There is no limit on the number of mid-ranges and putters you can bring. If you play in disco attire at this disc-down event, you're awesome.
2: This monthly is a singles event. You can't rely on your partner this time, so keep it in the fairway by throwing low-speed, controllable discs. We will resume doubles for the June Monthly.
3: Based on feedback that people want to play for 'something', we will request you bring $10 per player:
- $5 for the pot to pay winners
- $5 (or sliding scale) for the course fund
The Course- Bueno Mana is a private, heavily wooded disc golf course in Westhaven. Since 2023, we have been working with the property owner to expand a short course into something bigger and more challenging. Bueno Mana will continue to be a private, invite-only course intended for 'Monthly' games. Showing up uninvited breaks our rule #1; don't be a )!(%. For those who do get to play at Bueno Mana, we hope it adds to the diversity of the amazing courses we're blessed with here in Humboldt.
Liability Waiver- All guests must sign a liability waiver to play or be on the property. Please be safe so this waiver is irrelevant.
Cost- $10 per player: $5 for the winners pot and $5 (or sliding scale) donation for course maintenance and upgrades is suggested. Please bring two $5 bills to make this easier.
Location - Address and directions will be provided to those who register.
Carpooling- There is limited parking, so please carpool or let Randy know if you need a ride or want to drive others.
No Shows- If you can't make it, please let me know before 8 pm on 5/23 so we can invite others on the waitlist. Please don't no-show without a good excuse...
Lost Discs- We make every effort to reunite lost discs with their owners. If you lose an uninked disc, tell Randy so he can put it on the list so it can be returned when found.
Work Parties- This month isn't a work party, but thanks to all the volunteers who have helped out along the way! You're awesome!
