Who will be crowned this year’s “Champion of Massachusetts”?
THIS IS A PRIVATE INVITE ONLY TOURNEY - If you qualify your name will appear on
the registration list however the player will still need to pay the registration fee. To see if

Registration fee: $75 (includes lunch)

The top 7 players in each divisions in overall standings (MA1, MPO, FPO, FA1) will
automatically qualify, in addition to the Automatic Bids to the winners from Sunstein
Open, leading to total of 8 qualifying players in each division.
Thirty-two total invites will be made for this private year-end tournament, and Sunstein
LLP is guaranteeing a minimum of $5000 cash to be added to the pro player purse.
The winner of the MA1 and FA1 divisions will receive a championship belt, signifying
their status as the 2023 champion amateur golfer of Massachusetts.
FORMAT:
There will be one winner in each of the MPO, FPO, MA1, and FA1 divisions in a stroke
play event.
1: Eight players from each division will play an 18-hold Round 1 on the Checkered Flag
layout.
2: There will be a cut to six players [and ties] who will advance to the Semi-Final 9.
3: There will be a final final cut to four players [and ties] to play the Final 9.
Spectators welcome. Lunch included.
