About this tournament
1 round of play
This is an introductory event for the course. This event is supported by our good friends from Far from Par. They will provide us with CTP's. The purpose of the event is to begin introducing the course to the public and to get people playing it to start establishing the SSA (Scratch Scoring Average) for handicap play. The tournament is being structured to be very friendly to the casual players and to gently introduce the course to the Disc Golf Community.
Cost for the event is $20.
This will be a 1 round event. The round will start at 10:30 am. Top 40% will receive a payout. Top 3 in each division will receive a small trophy. This is an unsanctioned event.
There will be 4 divisions. Divisions can change depending on the type of turnout we have to achieve more fairness.
1. Advanced Division, ratings of 921 and higher
2. Intermediate Division, ratings of 851 to 920
3. Casual Player Division, ratings of 850 and below
4. Women's Division
You are invited to get out to the course early or stay late and explore the course a second or third time on the day of. You are invited to come at anytime to play the course on other days. The course is always open as long as the sun is up.
Ferry Info. Guemes Island has a ferry system to get out to the island. Ferries start at 6:30 am and runs at 7am, 8 am, 8:30 am, 9:15 am, and 9:45am. We will have a car or cars to help shuttle anyone that wants to walk on the ferry. Cost for the Ferry is: walk on: $5.50, for bicycle $6.75, for motorcycle: $9.75, and for a 22 foot or less car/truck: $17.00. If you want to walk on, there are parking lots in the immediate area, or you can park on the side streets on the Anacortes side. Again, there will be shuttles on the Guemes Side to get to the course.
