Battle at Bacon Park Sponsored by Discraft
About this tournament
Welcome to Battle at Bacon Park !. We are excited to raise money for an awesome charity! This will be a XC-Tier sanctioned PDGA event. XC tiers allow us to modify a bit of the structure so we can maximize the amount of money we raise!
The charity we are benefiting is called SD Gunner Fund. They operate out of Richmond Hill and help get service animals to Veterans, First Responders and disabled children. We can't wait to donate to them and hope you can help while enjoying throwing some plastic at a park we don't usually get to play at!
This event will be trophy only and 50% payout for professional divisions to maximize the amount going to charity.
Entrance fees will be broken down as this:
Professional players is $65 total to enter: 25% of entry fee to Charity, $2 PDGA fee,
Amateur players is $55 total to enter: $15 to Charity, $2 PDGA Fee, Green fees, $33 value players pack
Any remaining funds will be put towards trophies, supplies and donation to charity.
Perception Discs Golf vendor will be set up near tournament central to give us a great opportunity to get some disc golf needs for and after the tournament!
Tee assignments are as follows
MPO, MP40, MA1 - longs, modified shorts
FPO, MP50, MA40, MA50 - modified shorts, shorts
All other divisions - shorts, shorts
Modified shorts = Front 9 shorts, Back 9 longs
Players Packs:
AM Players will receive
1 custom stamped premium plastic discraft disc
1 custom stamped jaw breaker plastic discraft disc
CTPs:
There will be cash CTPs for every division available for purchase.

I will be bringing plenty of water that will be around the course for round hydration. Dry snacks will be available for purchase at Tourney Central. If you are wondering if there are places to get lunch close, there are plenty of food options in the area as well as food for purchase in the clubhouse
