What is a Space Race?
Space Race is designed to be a fast-paced, no holds barred, race to the chains ace race! Participants are limited to the 2 discs in the players pack.
What comes in the player's pack?
- Axiom Crave in Particle Eclipse Plastic (glow particles in glow plastic)
- MVP Atom in Eclipse Plastic
Players are required to provide their own UV light for charging the glow discs. There must be at least 1 UV light per player card(group). UV lights will be available for purchase.
What are the 2025 Space Race discs and how do they fly?

I’ve never played disc golf. Is the Space Race for me?
Yes, anyone can play. The most important aspect of the Space Race is to run aces and have fun! Don’t be discouraged or nervous to attend a Space Race if you have never played disc golf. This is a perfect opportunity to get started.

This is not a PDGA sanctioned event. All players are in a single division.

Many of the holes at the Trails DGC will have a shortened tee box location. Projected Layout below:
Hole 1: 185ft. Right of the huge stump in fairway.
Hole 2: Standard teepad and basket.
Hole 3: 150ft. Left of fairway about 1/3 down.
Hole 4: 145ft. Right side of fairway about 1/3 up the walking path.
Hole 5: 160ft. Right side of fairway near fallen tree log.
Hole 6: 130ft. Left side of fairway about 1/3 down
Hole 7: 130ft. Left side of fairway about 1/3 up, behind log.
Hole 8: Standard teepad and basket.
Hole 9: 165ft. 1/2 way to basket, on sidewalk.
Hole 10: 140ft. Top right near corner of soccer field.
Hole 11: Standard teepad and basket.
Hole 12: 135ft. On fairway just a bit past the first huge tree near teepad. Short basket placement.
Hole 13: Standard teepad, short basket placement (on right).
Hole 14: 120 ft. Right side of path leading to the elevated basket. elevated basket placement.
Hole 15: Standard teepad to short basket placement.
Hole 16: 140ft. Right side of fairway about 1/4 up to the right of a medium tree.
Hole 17: 140ft. 1/4 of the way up fairway on left.
Hole 18: 135ft. 1/4 of way up fairway on right, behind rotted stump.
Registration info: There must be a minimum of 24 entrants to run a Space Race. If the minimum is not met by the registration deadline, the event will have to be cancelled. Please tell your friends and lets fill this thing up!!! Players packs will be ordered 2 weeks prior to the tournament date. You must be pre-registered. Any player that fails to pick up his/her player's pack will forfeit the pack after a period of 3 months. No refunds will be given for forfeited player's packs.

Refund policy
Joe and Rob Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. No refunds will be given for withdrawals within 2 weeks if the event date. Players that wish to withdraw after that date will still receive their player’s pack.
