Come play the MVP Sp-Ace Race at The Links of Wheeler Park and pick up some sweet limited edition Glow discs by MVP brands!
This will be an ACE RACE style event. Temporary tees will be placed throughout the course. Expect most targets to be 75ft - 200ft from the tee pad. Please read the RULES OF GAME below for how to play and scoring details.
PLAYER'S PACK
All GEN Division players will receive a player's pack containing the 2 discs.

If you've already participated in a 2023 MVP Space Race event and have your own eligible 2023 MVP Space Race Player's Pack discs, you may join the BYO division at a reduced registration fee.
WARNING! THE BYO DIVISION REGISTRATION DOES NOT INCLUDE A PLAYER PACK, YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN ELIGIBLE DISCS! If signing up for BYO, please check the BYO Division Terms and Agreement box on the registration form to acknowledge this!
PICK YOUR OWN TEE-TIME
4:30PM - 7:30PM Check-in and player pack pickup at pavilion between Hole 6 and parking lot on North side of park.
Tee-off any time during this time-frame. Must be on a card of 3 or more players. Use the provided tee-time slots to find other players that want to start around the same time as you.
RULES OF GAME
- The object of the game is to get the highest score possible over the course of 18 holes.
- You may only use 2023 MVP Space Race Player Pack discs (Total Eclipse Envy & Total Eclipse Paradox) during this game.
- For every hole, each player tees off once.
- 5 points if you hit an Ace.
- 3 points if you hit metal or chains.
- If you completely miss the target on your first throw, you have 2 options:
- option 1: Re-tee for a second attempt at 5 or 3 points. You must use the un-thrown disc.
- option 2: Proceed to the lie of your first thrown disc, and get one attempt to sink a birdie putt worth 1 point if successful. You may use either disc for the putt if you mark the lie with another disc.
- You get at most 2 total throws per hole. Choose wisely!
PRIZES
This will be a CASH PRIZE only event. Scores will be collected on the day of the event and results and payouts posted on DGS and by email within 24 hours.
Payouts will go to top scorers. Number of payouts will be determined by total number of registrations, but expect around 25% of players will receive payout on a graduated scale based on event ranking. GEN and BYO Divisions will be pooled together for ranking and payouts (unless someone gives me a compelling reason to segregate them).

NOTE: Payouts will be made via PayPal to the email address supplied at registration, unless otherwise communicated to me. Other payment modes may be possible. Winners will be contacted by supplied email or phone to confirm payout preferences.
NOTICE
- This is NOT a closed-course event. The park will be open to the public during the round to other disc-golfers, families, bikers, dog-walkers, etc. Be courteous to our fellow park patrons!
- Participants may be required to sign a standard release of liability form typical of sporting events. Any player under the age 18 should have a parent/guardian available when checking in to sign on their behalf.
- Please adhere to local laws and ordinances regarding alcohol and drug use.
