About this tournament

Is this possibly the most enjoyable format in disc golf? That's for you to decide after trying this "Birdie Bash" style event at The Gorge!

This is non-sanctioned tournament. This event is meant for everyone to have fun first and foremost!!! (That is why we all play the sport in the first place right? lol). It will follow competitive rules format of course. All players will receive three separate one of a kind "circuit challenge" discs (shown in pictures section). There will also be disc prizes for 1st and 2nd in each division from MVP based on finish.

During the "circuit challenge" you may only use the MVP discs from the player's pack. No other discs are to be carried during the event on the course.

$5 of each entry goes to event management fees.

All players will play one round. The round will be a shotgun start at 1pm.

Children age 13 and under must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times.

Tee assignments:
MA1- White tees to short baskets

MA3- White tees to short baskets

MA4- Red tees to short baskets (FYI many of these in the close spots are more jump putts then they are shots from red tees to short baskets.)

Players will be playing all 20 holes to all the short pin positions in a traditional birdie bash format. Points will be scored as such:

10 pts- Ace
8 pts- Eagle
5 pts- metal hit off of drive
3 pts- Birdie
1 pt- metal hit off of Birdie or Eagle run

Ace pot is available and will be for all divisions. Each division will also have its own separate ctp holes.

Winner in each division will receive either :

A watermelon paradox and two 2nd lab discs or 4 second lab discs (prize count depending on player participation numbers).

2nd place in each division will receive one 2nd lab disc.

After the event, a distance challenge and "ring of fire" putting challenge will be held for anyone that is interested.

Then following the event, we will be having our weekly leagues at The Gorge for anyone that would like to get another round in. It will be $5 pay in for a random draw doubles round.

All playoffs will be sudden death beginning on Holes 1, 17-18 and repeating if needed.
