Mud-soaked socks; pockets full of rocks, acorns, and leaves; woodchips in lunch boxes; the incredible waterproof pants. Everyday the students at MVCS get to learn about the world in a way that most of their peers do not. Nature-based education at MVCS ignites curiosity, fosters team building and compassion, and develops a connection to the natural world that will ensure responsible stewardship.

This exceptional education, however, presents unique challenges. As a charter school, we must rely on fundraising to meet our financial needs.
