Welcome to Iron Man 2024.

So you think going out and playing 18 holes of disc golf is no big deal ?
You think anyone should be able to go out and play 36 holes, right ?
I mean, that’s only 2 rounds. You do that all the time.
But, can you make it through 54 holes of disc golf in a day ?
What about 72 holes ?
Because that’s what it’s going to take to claim the title of the Lowcountry Iron Man and Iron Woman this year.

Lowcountry Disc Golf again joins with Team Focus Disc Golf in bringing you the next , and really challenging, episode of our Fun and Affordable disc golf series.
You know you like it when we give you 2 sanctioned rounds of disc golf for $10.
But we know that you’re really going to like getting 4 sanctioned rounds for $10.
That’s $2.50 per round ! That barely even covers the PDGA fees.

This will be a sanctioned ,4 round, C-Tier, singles tournament.

This tournament will be a part of our Fun and Affordable fund raising tournaments, so there will be no player’s packs, no trophies and nothing else that drives up the costs of many tournaments now-a-days.
You know what you get with Lowcountry Disc Golf and the Team Focus Disc Golf —-
We give you just Disc Golf … ‘’and a damn good time’’.

The 4 Courses this year are going to be …
Wannamaker County Park
Park Circle
4 Poles
Canterbury

With 4 courses on the menu this year, it will be as much of a test of time management and player cooperation, as it will be a test of driving and putting.

To officially complete this tournament and fight for the title of “Iron Man’’, or ‘’Iron Waman’’ , all 4 rounds must be completed.
A slow pace of play with a sit down lunch at a restaurant will probably not be on your list of ‘’things to do’’ on this day.
You will need card mates who understand and share your desire for a good pace of play.
You will want card mates who appreciate a good peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Someone better be packing a cooler with some cold drinks in it ready to go.
What I’m saying is, you’ll be wanting a good plan and some good folks by your side.

You will be allowed to pick your own card mates
Some cards might be adjusted, if I have to work some Tournament Director magic to make it all flow better.

So I’m calling you out now , all you little ‘Iron Boys’ out there.
And you too, all of you little ‘’Iron Girls’’.
For I know that amongst you stands a champion.
I know that there is among you an “Iron Man” and a “Iron Woman”.
Let them now step up and show themselves.
