About this tournament

Lowcountry Disc Golf welcomes you back to the beautiful Hampton Park for our 3rd year hosting this exciting event.

Hampton Park is a beautiful and historic park located in the heart of the City of Charleston.
The park is right across the street from the well known Citadel College, home of the Bulldogs.
Years, decades, and centuries of history has played out on these famous grounds, and now you have a chance to make a little history of your own.

Pro players will be playing for cash prizes, according to PDGA guidelines.
There is no trophy awarded to our Pro winner,
There will not be an official player’s pack for the pro players , however there will be some tournament swag for you, as well as having your lunch provided for you on Saturday.
All cash winnings will be payed out through PayPal, as per PDGA guidelines.

Amateur players will receive a player’s pack with their entry.
The player’s pack will consist of a tournament specific hoodie and a very cool water bottle that is engraved with names of many of the “Great Courses of South Carolina’’. The cup comes with a corresponding stamp collection that allows you the ability to place a stamp on the courses that you have played.
There will also be some tournament specific swag for you that we make on our in house engraving machine.

There will be a 1st place prize for all amateur divisions with 5 or more players.
That prize will be a full size practice basket from Innova Disc Golf.
There will be a different prize for division winners, if the division has less than 5 players.
For those divisions that have less than 5 players, we have some cool (pun intended) portable neck fans for those hot rounds of disc golf that you’ll be playing as the 1st place prize.
This neck fans will also be awarded to the 2nd place finishers in each amateur division.
Divisions with less than 5 players may be combined at the discretion of the TD.

All players, Pro and Am, will be provided with a lunch voucher that can be turned in for a free lunch in between rounds on Saturday.
You are, of course, always welcome to bring your own lunch.

Pass through fees are the part of your registration costs that go to running the tournament.
FYI, you are paying $4 to the PDGA.
That fee includes the official recording of your scores, along with the insurance that covers us for this event.
You are paying $15 for the temporary course and the use of the park for the 4 days that we will be there.
TD fee is $3 -
And, you are paying $3 each to be able to use the 2 portable toilets that we will have out on the course for you.
Hope this helps you to understand why we charge you the money that we do, and show you how we’re spending some of it.
The rest of your entry fee covers your lunch, player’s pack, and prizes.
So, there you go, transparent accounting at its finest.

The entire Lowcountry Disc Golf Team has worked very hard this year to bring you another memorable tournament.
We are excited to welcome you to join us for a fun weekend of disc golf, and we’re looking forward to seeing all of you out there in the Park with us.
