About this tournament

Pre-registration required. No event-day signups are allowed.

- Contact the TD at 301-338-4533 (call/text) with questions.

The concept
- The ACDGC has a bunch of discs - a mix of putters, midranges and drivers - that have been turned into the club over the years.
- If the disc is marked, the club has a policy of keeping the disc for up to 60 days after the owner has been contacted, in hopes the owner schedules to retrieve it.
- If the disc is not marked, we do make an honest effort to return the disc, but there's not a whole lot that can be done to truly ensure it gets back to the rightful owner.
- So, the club has a bunch of lost-and-found discs that we are converting to player packs.
- This round serves as the club's Holiday Break League finale (see flyer for details)

Rules
- Though not a PDGA-sanctioned event, PDGA rules generally apply.
- Players can use only discs in their player packs (no trading)
- Players can choose to purchase multiple player packs in order to maximize the opportunity to get a disc they'll find usable on event day.

Cost
- Participation in this event is FREE. A player can register to play and ask for the 2-disc or 3-disc pack. At the end of the round, the player must return the discs.
- For $10, a player will receive 2 discs.
- For $15, a player will receive 3 discs.
- Players can purchase additional player packs in 2-disc or 3-disc increments ($10 or $15)
- Any disc a player buys, a player keeps
- Discs will be distributed in order of registration (paid first, then the free option).
- If you experience any issues, please contact 301-338-4533 and we'll be happy to help get it sorted.

Player packs
- Players should expect that each disc is in varying degrees of "used."
- Some discs clearly have been in a body of water for a period of time.
- On the sleepy scale, most discs are probably no worse than a 6 or 7 [based on the info from greensplatter(dot)com]
- The 2-disc packs will be a putter and midrange whenever possible.
- The 3-disc packs will be a putter, a midrange and a driver whenever possible. Is there a chance it could be two putters and a driver? Yes. Two mids and a putter? Yes. Three of the same type? That's the least likely (but not entirely impossible).

Course
- Central Assembly of God Disc Golf Course, 2020 Bedford Street, Cumberland, Maryland
- There is some elevation change. The course has rolling hills. If you're a flatlander, you'll have moments you'll be catching your breath. If you're okay on hills, you might think this course is relatively flat.
- This course has natural (dirt) tee pads. Plan accordingly if muddy, snowy, etc.

Layout
- TBD based on weather conditions and other factors. We'll get in at least 18 holes.
- All players will play from the same tee areas
- If you want to register a player under the age of 12, contact the TD at 301-338-4533 about the layout prior to registering. The club can make adjustments as needed.

OB/Mandos, etc
- The ACDGC likes putting short and long 7 as an island with a mandatory drop zone. Expect that on Jan. 4.
- The club is also considering a couple of other things to enhance the opportunities for fun. Any such additions will be announced at the TD meeting for all players on event day.

Scoring
- Players must have a uDisc account (the free version is fine) and check in
- Only one person per card is required to keep score

Timeline
- See schedule (on a computer, it's to the left of this box. On a phone, it's somewhere else on the page you're currently looking at).
