About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Hello! On behalf of the Columbus Flyers Disc Golf Club and Latitude 64 (DynamicDisc.com), thanks for your interest in the Lobdell Open sponsored by Latitude 64.
This will be a 2 round, shot gun start, B-Tier event with $1000 dollars added cash for the pros.
Shot gun start at this course means limited parking. Volunteers will be helping to pack everyone in but please consider carpooling. The upper lot of the preserve is available for overflow parking.
Please plan on bringing a packed lunch. There are limited options nearby.
It is split over 2 days to offer more space to play the great Lobdell Preserve disc golf course in Alexandra, Ohio. Divisions MA1, MA3 and MA4 will be playing on Saturday October 18th. The pros, MA2, Ladies and Age protected will be playing on Sunday October 19th. These are split on Disc Golf Scene, so make sure to sign up on the correct day.
Amateur divisions will receive a disc and Latitude 64 swag as their players pack.
We will have a short player meeting in the morning at 9am and will leave plenty of time for those starting on the back holes to make it to their tee pads. This helps us make sure everyone has arrived and that cards have at least 3 people.
Divisions MPO and MA1 will be playing longs. All other divisions will play shorts.
There will be alternate pin positions for Holes 7 and 14 to help with back ups and provide a little change to the layout. (Hope to have these in before Sept 30th, so keep a watch out for work days in Aug and Sept). Otherwise no major changes.
We will be using PDGA live scoring for this event, but we will have paper score cards at Tournament Central. PDGA live will have all OBs and information needed on the day of the event.
Trophies will be given to the winner of every division (the top 3 in divisions with more than 10 players).
There will be an Ace fund for the day you play. If no ace is hit the money will go to the course for making permanent alternate pin positions.
A cash raffle will be on site all weekend with winners drawn on Sunday. In order to help the Mid Ohio Food Bank for every 5 dry/canned items brought you can gain one entry. There will be 3 main prizes including a fully carbon fiber disc golf cart provided by JDBumpusLLC.
