Welcome to 2021 Liberty Gold!
This is a PDGA sanctioned C tier event.
Disc golf a self governed sport, so please become familiar with PDGA rules. They are available at https://www.pdga.com/rules
Recreational and Intermediate divisions play Saturday, and Professional and Advanced divisions play Sunday.
About this event:
I will have water jugs but highly recommend bringing your own water.
The event is a one round event on 12 minute tee times. Tee times will be posted July 15, 2021, at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/50648
Liberty Gold Layout.
All roads, fences, white lines and over are OB.
Tall grass is OB, all tall grass that is OB will be defined by a white line.
Tall grass comes into play on Holes
3,5,6,7,8,10,11,12,14,16,17,18
Water will be marked with white paint line, if no line, then the water is the defining line.
All long pads
Gold baskets on holes
5,6,8,10,12,14,16,18
For clarification on hole 3.
Hole 3 plays to blue basket.
Hole 8 plays to Gold basket
Hole 1 will have temporary pad, I need to get correct distance still.
Hole 2 if your disc does not come to rest inbounds proceed to DZ, short pad. Also you can elect to throw from DZ, with a 2 stroke penalty.
4 long is left pad and not right pad.
There is a Mando on hole 10, stay left of big yellow pole, if you miss Mando proceed to DZ, short pad, with a 1 stroke penalty.
Hole 14 has an OB line on right side of fairway following tree line all the way down to the water behind 14s Gold basket.
The course will be set July 16th, KCDG league will have a flex start that day playing the Liberty Gold Layout.
Official scoring will be through the PDGA, at https://pdga.com/score
Each card will also need to keep a backup scorecard per PDGA rules. Paper scorecards will be available, or the card may use an app such as uDisc.
Trophies for first place will be awarded after each division finishes.
