About this tournament
From Legends of the Chains comes a new challenge for 2026...
LEGENDS OF THE ROCK:
This is a four-event qualifier series where every round is your chance to earn a spot in an exclusive, invitation-only championship finale at the private course of co-founder Matt Mullen (aka The Rock King) located in Mansfield, CT.
EVENT DETAILS:
Format: One round, shotgun start.
Rules: Choose your own LotC character.
Location: Mountainside DGC
Tee-off time: 10am
Checkin begins at 9am. Card assignments and starting holes will be organized by division and chosen at random.
DIVISIONS:
• Legends (900+ rated players)
• Warriors (players rated under 900)
• Heroines (women’s division)
Each event will be "choose your own character" style, so bring any official LotC character card you'd like to use for the round. The character you choose determines the powers you will be able to use during the round. For more info on how to play, visit legendsofthechains.com.
PLAYER PACKS, PRIZES & AWARDS:
All players who enter will receive 1 Legends of the Chains: Cosmic Rivals expansion pack ($10 in value) and also have multiple chances to win a variety of CTP prizes throughout the round.
Win your division at any of the four qualifier events and you'll earn back your $20 entry fee AND secure a spot to the final championship battle, where you'll compete against the other winners in your division for the lump sum cash prize pool.
COST BREAKDOWN:
• $10 for player packs, CTP prizes and trophies
• $5 for the cash prize pool for your division
• $5 for Mountainside's course fee

The championship finale in September at Mullen Rock will be scheduled based on each division winner's availability (to the best of our ability) to help ensure all who earn their place can compete for the Legends of the Rock title.

Refund policy
Full refunds (minus transaction fees) accepted until 48 hours of the event. If you need to back out, please let Matt know as soon as possible
