Anyone else not played Hayo in a while? Let's go! Last chance for 2023!!
We're hosting another 50/50 doubles at Camp Hayo Went Ha, with a 10 hole putting round to follow, just up the road at Odyssey Farm. An optional glow round will likely be happening once the bonfire is lit as well.
Saturday, Dec 30th @ 10am ~ park at Camp Road
While this is not an official 'Ice Bowl' per se, we will still split up the registration fee's between payouts, the Ace Pool, the Good Samaritan food pantry in Ellsworth, and the new signs fund for Mt McSauba's DG course ~ so thank you in advance for the support!!
$20/player random draw divisional doubles:
- $8 to div. payouts
- $2 to Ace pool
- $5 to Good Sam food pantry in Ellsworth
- $5 to Mt. McSauba's new signs
We'd love to have enough women for a women's division and we'll add divisional ctp's/long-putts if so!
Ring of fire for Ace Pool $$ if no Aces hit, but everyone will also have 5 shots at a 150' Ace Run hole back at Odyssey Farm for a chance at the Ace Pool kitty as well.
Parking is tight at both locations so please carpool as much as possible, and directions to Odyssey Farm (Ric's place) will be given out at Hayo.
Players must play both locations to cash, but we will give out ctp's and long-putt prizes at Hayo in case folks need/want to leave after the 1st round.
10am - 1st Round is best shot doubles, lowest score wins round.
Between rounds ~ Providence Farm Market, the Torch Lake Cafe and the Eastport Market are all "on the way" between Hayo and Odyssey Farm if you need to pick up any food or beverages, and tell them who sent you if you stop in, especially since they are all prize sponsors!!
3pm (?) - 2nd round is playing an abbreviated 10 hole version of the putting course, with each player getting one shot from each of the 3 tee's on each hole. Each putt made is worth 1 point, so 6 points available as a team per hole ~ 60 total points available for round. Most points wins round. (abbreviated in the hopes to be done by dark...)
Event winners determined by combined number of teams beat for both rounds.
Following all of that there will be 10 lit baskets for an optional glow round ~ $5 Ace/Deuce or Die?!?...we'll see...
