  WELCOME TO LAKESIDE IRON DOUBLES!
  
  This year, we are excited to announce that Lakeside Iron Doubles will be taking the place of Lakeview. We aim to fully utilize the stunning courses available to us in Yankton, which offer not only beautiful landscapes but also a fantastic setting for our events. Our goal is to create an enjoyable and memorable experience for all participants. The funds generated from this event will be allocated towards purchasing new baskets for the club, enhancing our facilities, and supporting the organization of upcoming Lakeview tournaments.
  
  As a reminder, please note that both of these exceptional courses require South Dakota state park passes for entry.

  FORMAT FOR THIS EVENT
  
  2 Rounds of 18 Holes
  
  Round #1 Best Shot - Both players attempt every shot from tee to basket. The players then determine which shot is the better of the two and play the next shot from that location. Proceed this way on each shot until a putt is made. If the first player to putt, makes the putt, the second player does not need to putt.
  
  Round #2 Alternate Shot – Partners take turns throwing tee shots (e.g., Player A tees off on odd-numbered holes, Player B on even-numbered holes). After the tee shot, players alternate throws regardless of who threw last on the previous hole. Only one player throws each shot per team, continuing to alternate until a putt is made. If Player A throws the tee shot, Player B throws the next shot, then Player A, and so on. Proceed this way on each hole until a putt is made.
