Welcome to the Third Annual Lakeland Open - Presented by BAR Engineering & Supported by Innova!

This year’s Lakeland Open will take place at the brand new and beautiful Riverbend Trading Post! Currently the highest rated course in SK (4.8 on UDisc), you won’t want to miss this one!

This will be a PDGA C-Tier meaning you are NOT required to buy a PDGA membership to play, but you will be charged an additional $15 PDGA temporary membership fee in order to participate.

Pro - Will compete for entry fee purse (minus the passthrough fees) + $500 added cash!
Pro winners who want to retain AM status will be paid out in voucher value to Wildman.

Amateur - Medals will be awarded to top finisher in each division, and all amateur players will receive player packs equal in value to 100%+ of their net registration fee! Players will not receive merchandise payouts.

Each Amateur will receive 1 custom stamped Lakeland Open Innova disc, a voucher to Wildman Disc Golf to be redeemed on site, and a towel with the title sponsors logo on it.

Player Passthrough Fees

Green Fees - $15 (Riverbend Trading Post 2026 Annual Members save this cost - email us for discount code upon sign-up. We will also check at time of event and reimburse members if they paid or weren't members at the time of tournament sign-up).
PDGA/Player Fee - $5

Tee Assignments

Tee assignments are subject to change prior to event. Final tee assignments will be listed in the Player's Handbook emailed out prior to the tournament start.

We will be utilizing the white & red tees for this event.

Ace Pot

Ace pot will start at $370 as a carry over from the prior 2 Lakeland Open tournaments! There are some short and gettable holes at Riverbend - so make sure you add your name during signup!

Vendors

We have secured a Starlink rental for the weekend which should enable our vendors to use their point-of-sales systems for credit/debit via the free wifi, but cash is always good to have just in case there's any issues!

-Will be on site with a selection of products to purchase or for you to redeem player’s pack vouchers.
-You can place orders on their website and select local pickup prior to Friday to save on shipping! He will bring them right to the tournament!

Accommodations

The Riverbend Trading Post Campground is on the same property as the Disc Golf Course, so you will have the option of camping right on site! Make sure you add camping to your entry during signup if you plan on staying. $10/night with first come, first serve for site selection. There will be plenty of space for everyone. Please note that the campground is an "off grid" campground - so there are no water/power hookups. Bring those battery banks to keep the phone charged! Generators will be allowed to run outside of quiet times. There is a bathroom on the campground with running water. Pets must be kept on leash and picked up after.

Camping bookings will be done through DiscGolfScene registration. You do not need to book via the website, it will be done upon signup at a reduced rate for the weekend! Camping costs are per tent/RV. If you have any questions about camping please contact Riverbend Trading Post via their website or socials!

Lloydminster is 30 mins away with plenty of hotel options. Look at options on the east end of the city for least amount of driving to the course. It is a scenic drive with paved roads the whole way.

Player's Meeting

All required information for the event will be emailed out and included in the Caddy Book. Please review and understand all rules/regulations. We will have a short players meeting prior to round 1 to go over any important information and ask questions.

Saturday Evening Events

The Lloydminster & District CO-OP has generously donated burgers for our player's party BBQ! We will be set up in the tournament central area with the barbeques after our 2nd round - come and meet the course owners and grab a bite!

Craft Beer Exchange (Supported by 4th Meridian Brewing) - Since we often have players coming from all over the prairies, we thought it would be fun to host a craft beer exchange for those of us that share that hobby as well! Bring a 4 pack of your favourite local flavor, then we will draw names and do a snake draft and select single cans. Everyone will leave with 4 new beer to try! 4th Meridian Brewing has been generous enough to donate to our exchange, so each participant will leave with more than they show up with!
