Welcome to the Second Annual Lakeland Open Presented by BAR Engineering!

This will be a PDGA C-Tier meaning you are NOT required to buy a PDGA membership to play, but you will be charged an additional $15 PDGA temporary membership fee in order to participate. Please note the PDGA has upped the fee to $15 for 2025.

We have dropped the entry fee for this year by $5 across all divisions to ensure an affordable tournament for all participants!

Pro - Will compete for entry fee purse (minus the passthrough fees) + $500 added cash!

Amateur - Trophies will be awarded to top finisher in each division, and all amateur players will receive player packs equal in value to 100%+ of their net registration fee! Players will not receive merchandise payouts.

Schedule

3 Rounds

-Tee time starts for this year, some players rounds will push into the later evening.
-Rounds will be walked due to limitations with golf cart quantities & PDGA rules regarding golf carts.
-Practice rounds will have golf cart rental available
-Players information/caddy book will likely be electronic, so in person meeting won't be mandatory.

Tee Assignments

Tee assignments are subject to change prior to event. Tee assignments may change prior to the event depending on weather conditions to ensure the course plays fair, but fun. Final tee assignments will be listed in the Player's Handbook emailed out prior to the tournament start.

We will be utilizing the blue, white & red tees for this event.

Ace Pot

Ace pot will start at $180 as a carry over from 2024 Lakeland Open with no aces! It is currently at $355!

-Will be on site with a selection of products to purchase or for you to redeem player’s pack vouchers.
-You can place orders on their website and select local pickup prior to Friday to save on shipping! He will bring them right to the tournament!

Kitscoty Golf Course Concession - Will be open Friday all day, Saturday from 6pm to late.

-Will be on site with a selection of discs & disc golf products for purchase

Accommodations

The Kitscoty Regional Campground is located on the same property as the Disc Golf Course, so you will have the option of camping right on site!

Powered & Non-powered tent sites available. More than 1 tent allowed per site - so coordinate with other players to split a site if you can! If all tent sites are taken, we will have overflow camping available that you can register for at tournament time.

Lloydminster is close by with plenty of hotel options. The Hampton Inn on the west end of town is a 15 minute drive from the course.

Player's Meeting

All required information for the event will be emailed out and included in the Caddy Book. Please review and understand all rules/regulations. You will be briefed prior to your tee time, so please show up 10 minutes before your scheduled tee-off.

Glow Tournament

We will be having a casual glow tournament after dark on Saturday, hosted on UDisc with some small prizes to be won!

The Golf Course Clubhouse will be open at that time and offering cart rentals to players that want to play and don't want to walk another 18! Go with another player and split the cost!

The shorter Red Tees will be played, so it should be fun for everyone with tons of birdies to be had!
