About this tournament

This is the 2nd year of hosting the Lake Point Open. Last year was a success and the city of Heflin wants to continue growing the sport here.

2 round C tier Tournament at a modified Lake Point Park disc golf course. This course has underwent a couple more changes since last year and is now a 20 hole course with some holes having a short and long tee pad. Not all teepads are fully finished but we are working with the city to continue updating the course year after year.

Layout
Longs: MPO, MA1
Mixed: MA40, MA50, MA2, MA3, FA1, FA2
- Longs: 7, 8, 12
- Shorts: 1, 11, 13, 15, 16
Shorts: MA60, MA4, FA3, FA4

Trophies
Due to registration numbers, trophies will be available for MPO, MA1, MA3, MA4.

Pros will be paying for cash.

There is a $3 course fee and a $3 PDGA fee

Raffle Tickets
There will be raffle tickets available to purchase at registration. We will have many items to win after the tournament such as signed discs, a 3D printed bundle from Coppock Customs, and an Axiom Watermelon Bag.

CTPs
There will be Free CTPs for everyone. Some will be all players and some will be for certain divisions.
There will be 4 Cash CTPs that will last both rounds if you buy into it.

This event has partnered with the Paul McBeth Foundation to help raise funds to bring disc golf to everyone. PMF's mission is to develop and introduce sustainable disc golf experiences in underserved locations with limited or no access to the sport. Refund policy

Calhoun County DGC is responsible for all refunds and cancellations.

Players MUST request withdrawal through the Withdraw button on Disc Golf Scene or by sending an email to the TD at [email redacted]

Posting your request in the Comments section does not constitute withdrawal.

Players who officially request to withdraw 30 days from the event (October 22) will receive a 100% cash refund minus a handling fee.

Players who officially request to withdraw from the event 7-29 days before the tournament (October 23 - November 15) will receive a 50% cash refund, minus a registration fee.

Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from a registered spot playing in the event prior to the published closure of registration and waitlist replacements and don’t play (aka a no-show), forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player’s pack. (This does NOT apply to a waitlist player)
