Lockhart Training Services, LLC Presents: The 3rd Annual Birdie Classic at Bogue Chitto Powered by Discmania

This is a PDGA B-Tier, one-day, two-round event held at Bogue Chitto State Park. The Birdie Classic continues to grow as one of Louisiana’s premier tournaments, focused on delivering a competitive, well-organized experience for players of all skill levels.

Tournament Central will be located at the meeting room passed hole 15.

Early registration opens March 18 at 5:00 PM. Players who register early will have the opportunity to secure their spot while taking advantage of one of the following options:

• Purchase a custom stamped tournament disc for $25
• Receive 50% off a tee sign sponsorship ($25)
• Receive 50% off a social media sponsorship ($50)

Entry Fees

Pro Divisions – $77
$3 park fee
$4 PDGA fee
$70 per player added directly to Pro payouts
$1000 total added cash distributed across Pro divisions

Amateur Divisions – $57

$25 per player added to payouts

All amateur payouts will follow standard PDGA guidelines.

Course Layout

Round 1
MPO, MP40, MA1, MP50, MP60, MA2, MA3, MA40, MA50, MA60 – Red tees to Gold baskets
All other divisions – Red tees to Blue baskets

Round 2
MPO, MP40, MA1 – Black tees to Gold baskets
MP50, MP60, MA2, MA40, MA50, MA60, MA3 – Black tees to Blue baskets
All other divisions – Red tees to Blue baskets

Trophies

Trophies will be provided at no cost to players in both Amateur and Professional divisions.

PDGA minimum trophy recommendations by division size:
1 player — No trophy required
2–4 players — 1st place trophy
5–12 players — 1st & 2nd place trophies
13+ players — 1st through 3rd place trophies

Lagniappe Disc Golf trophy structure:
1–4 players — 1st place trophy
5–9 players — 1st & 2nd place trophies
10+ players — 1st, 2nd & 3rd place trophies

Our goal is for every division to have something to play for while continuing to raise the standard for local events.
Bogue Chitto State Park offers a scenic and challenging layout that rewards both shot placement and course management. Players can expect a smooth tournament flow and a high-quality event experience.

Once the waitlist has been fully exhausted, no additional refunds will be granted. Players who withdraw after this point will still be eligible to receive their player pack.

All sponsorships and early registration items are nonrefundable. Thank you for giving a little something extra and supporting the Lagniappe Disc Golf community.
