Lafayette Classic
About this tournament
Gazelle Goods and Bomb Discs present the Lafayette Classic at Lafayette High School! This is a 2 round, shotgun start Disc Golf Tournament benefitting the Future Teachers of Kentucky Scholarship Honoring Helen Caise Wade at the University of Kentucky.
First Tee-Time will be 9am and the second will start an hour after the last finishes the first round to give everyone time for lunch. You will tee-off with the same card in round 2 on the same hole.
Pro - $40
Am - $30
$15 of all player entry will go to Scholarship. Pro will be cash payout, Am will be payout through Bomb Discs.
There will also be a Community Round following the event. $10 flex start staring around 5pm with shorter basket locations and ace runs!
Course Details: This 18 hole course was designed by Christopher McCurry and Stephen Cassity using Lafayette High School's and the neighboring School for the Creative and Performing Art's (SCAPA) abundant green space. The roads and sidewalks provide an opportunity to shape shots around OB areas. Five of the holes will be inside the stadium where players will throw endzone to endzone, through the stadium seating and from the baseball commentator's deck. We are excited for you to play the course. The current par is set to 57. There may be changes needed to the course up until the day of.
