Aloha! Kona Disc Golf is excited to be bringing you their 1st sanctioned PDGA C-tier event, the Kohala Winds Classic - Presented by Prodigy Disc
Kohala Winds Disc Golf Course is located within North Kohala Golf Park - 54-364 Kamehameha Park Rd, Kapaau, HI 96755.

This is a 1-day Pro/Am event with 2 rounds of 18 holes each.
All divisions will be playing the from the normal tee's. (FA2, Junior and MA3 divisions will play shorter tees on certain holes)
Final determination of Divisions will be made prior to the start of the tournament. If there are fewer than 4 players in any division, that division may be collapsed into a related division (i.e. MA50 may be conbined with MA40).
Tee sponsors are $25. Tee sponsors will have their name or business logo on one of the holes. You will also get a mention during annoucements :). You can sponsor when you register or contact Alan Koons directly to sponsor a hole. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
Amateur Players packs will be a Prodigy disc in 400 plastic, Prodigy Disc Trucker Hat and Prodigy Mini Marker Disc. A $46 value.
*MA3 AND JR DIVISIONS ARE TROPHY ONLY (They will receive players packs)
PARKING - The parking lot near the club house is very small. Once that lot fills, we will have some parking spots available on the grass along the road coming into North Kohala Golf Park. Once those are taken up, players will be asked to park in the parking lot across from Roots Skate Park in Kamehamehe Park. Someone will be directing parking on the day of.
FOOD - There are a few close gas stations, grocery stores and restaurants in town (Kohala/Havi). It's not likely that you will have time to order food made to go anywhere in town, but there a likely pre-maid wraps and sandwiches at those locations to grab before or in between the rounds. Otherwise, it's suggested to bring food/drinks with you for between rounds.
