27 hole tournament Course open for flex start doubles (modified best shot doubles - no more than two consecutive drives from either player) from 10am and or practice.
Come register your doubles team (if not registered already) at HQ by the fountain (to the right and over the road if standing on teepad one).6:30pm - 9:30pm

11am Round 1 (TD Draw) - 27 holes Tee Off - Shotgun Start
Then lunch and catch ups after your round at HQ.6:30pm - 10:00pm
Player social get together and $20 burger + beer deal at the Waimate Bakery, 56 Queen Street, Waimate.

Final Four - top four players play four more holes (holes 1 to 4 then repeat if a tie for first place) to decide the final placings. Chance for all to watch and support the top four players and see how they attach these challenging holes.

About this tournament
Vortica Disc Golf’s Martin Galley in collaboration with the Waimate Disc Golf Club are proud to announce the third installment of ‘Knottingley Giants’ at the beautiful Knottingley Park and Arboretum in Waimate. Another fun and challenging wintertime NZDG tour event coming your way soon in South Canterbury.
PLEASE NOTE Waitlist players who are promoted to the registration list must pay within 24 hours of receiving their email notification or will forfeit their promotion.
NB Every attempt will be made to run according to the scheduled times. If extreme weather conditions arise, we reserve the right to adjust tee off times and or reduce the number of holes played.
We also reserve the right to move players to more suitable divisions if required.
Refund policy
Players who officially request to withdraw from this event 15 to 29 days before the start of this event will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee (minus PayPal, discgolfscene fees and a $10 admin / refund handling fee) only if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is not filled, the player will receive a 50% monetary refund.
Players who officially request to withdraw from this event within 14 days of the start of the event will receive a 100% monetary refund (minus PayPal, discgolfscene fees and a $10 admin / refund handling fee) only if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is not filled, the player will receive a 25% monetary refund.
Players who request withdrawal within 48 hours of the start of play, or who request withdrawal after the published close of registration and the published end of waitlist replacements, are not entitled to a refund.
