About this tournament

The Kingston Downs Classic is the first of what we hope will be a series of tournaments at unique locations throughout Georgia. This is a first run for both the Kingston Downs property and a tournament format that forgoes the typical players pack/payout and instead, focuses on incredible and new locations for disc golf and the amenities needed to support a tournament.
Kingston Downs is a family-owned and operated 5,000+ acre property situated on the Etowah River, conveniently located a few miles outside of Rome, GA and 45 minutes north of metro Atlanta. Our course will be set on a small section of the property with the Pavilion serving as tournament central. Camping is available on site for Saturday night.
The course is designed for Advanced/Open players but with its mostly open fairways, anyone who is an experienced tournament disc golf player should be able to easily navigate the course. Because this course is designed for higher level players, there will be no Recreation, Novice, or Juniors divisions offered. Everyone will play from the same tees to the same baskets. Other divisions, while open to signup, will be consolidated if necessary.
The course will be open on Saturday for practice. If you are registered for the tournament Sunday, there is no course fee for Saturday practice. If you are not registered for the Kingston Downs Classic but would still like to play the course on Saturday, the course fee is $10 to play all day.
There will be an unsanctioned, Bring-Your-Own-Partner Doubles event on Saturday as a separate signup on discgolfscene.com.
