About this tournament
This event was created to help raise funds in order to create a disc golf course at Old Rochester Regional High School in Mattapoisett, Ma. We have been approved to create a course on our schools campus, but now require funds in order to purchase baskets.
Huge thank you to Disc Golf 978 for donating 12 discs which will be used as CTP rewards. Additionally, Disc Golf 978 is donating a merch basket which will be raffled off the day of the tournament.
This tournament includes the following:
1. 12 CTP discs
2. 9 new holes exclusive to this tournament (18 holes total)
3. Intermission skills competition - Winner receives a donated marksman basket
4. Payouts to the winning teams from each division
5. Ace Pot
6. The feeling of knowing you're playing disc golf for a good cause
This is a single day, two round - unsanctioned doubles event. There are 3 divisions, Professional, Amateur, and Recreational. Each division will have a chance to win division exclusive CTP discs. The doubles format will be "best disc" doubles.
During the intermission there will be an optional skills competition in which you can accumulate points from three events.
Event 1: Long Putt - Gain points from making putts from different ranges
Event 2: Fast Putt - Gain points by making as many 20' putts as you can in 10 seconds
Event 3: Gain points by getting a bullseye on baskets at varying distances
Winner of the skills competition receives a donated (but in good condition) marksman basket. Only people participating in the tournament will be eligible for the skills competition.
Any additional donations are welcome, and can be sent to @NKane8 on PayPal or @Nate-Kane-2 on Venmo, with the comment Disc Golf. All donors will be automatically entered into the Swag Basket raffle, courtesy of Disc Golf 978.
