About this tournament
This is the first "King of the Park" event on May 25, 2024. It will consist of two rounds of 18 holes at Ferry Park DGC. Check-in will begin around 7:30, followed by a short meeting at 8:30, and the first round will start at 9:00. It will be a PDGA C-tier event. Registration for AM1 begins on April 19. All other divisions start on the 22nd.
Registration is here on Disc Golf Scene or at Fly Free Disc Golf - Those with a PDGA account will save $10 on the registration fee.
All divisions will receive a player pack with 2 discs. The value of the player pack will exceed the registration fee. $5.00 will go to the City of Fort Walton Beach, and $2 will go to the PDGA. We have added a shirt size request - should we decide to add a shirt to the players' pack. We will have ROFs and CTPs; there is an additional ace pot! May offer a Skittles competition with enough players registered. - All division winners will receive an event trophy. Divisions with 3 or less - First place trophy, 5 players First and Second, 7 or more First, Second, and Third. Three hazards will be added to holes 14, 17, and 18. Hazards will be marked at least 10 days prior. Hole 17 will also have a smaller landing zone near the basket.
Pool A - MA1, FA1, MA40 - (All Longs)
Pool B - MA2, FA2, MA3, FA3, FA40, MA50, FA50, MA60 (Long/Short)
Pool C - MA4, FA4 (Short/Short)
Drops will be by the PDGA guidelines.
