    Review of what we did the day before/questions. Learn how to play tournament golf.

    Split into teams for a 9 hole mini tournament!
    Each team will have 3 players, they will alternate shots. The winning team on each card will receive a prize! (We will have a 9 hole mini course setup)

About this tournament

Hello this is Callie McMorran! I am a professional athlete that travels the country to play disc golf. I run events all over the country and also play a top level. The really cool part is that I grew up in Arlington, TN just a couple towns over from Munford, and I often played at Valentine park.

Why am I telling you this? Well I want to give back to my community by running a Kids Summer Camp. The McMorran family will be helping with this event while I am out on the road.

At this camp each child will learn how the sport of disc golf works, how to putt, approach and drive. There will be individual games and team games with prizes for the winners!

When arriving to the camp each child will check in and get to pick out their starter pack. A starter pack containes a brand new Putter, Midrange and distance driver disc. Each child will get to keep these discs when the camp is completed. They will also receive a "mini" which we will explain more about this during the camp.

When attending the camp each child will need to bring a packed lunch each day. (This is optional because the camp is over at noon we just want them to have at least a snack because it will likely be hot) We will have water on site for everyone. We plan to have extra bathrooms on site. We are hoping to have the ice cream truck come by so please plan to send your child with a couple extra bucks for a cold treat.

This is a two day event. It is $40 per child. We want everyone to know that this money will go back into Valentine disc golf park for maintenance and upgrades so by participating you're helping out your community.
