K-Town Ice Bowl #16 presented by Discraft
About this tournament
Its that time of year again. Its Ice Bowl Season in Northern Michigan. We are hosting our 16th annual K-Town Ice Bowl at Log Lake Park in Kalkaska, Mi . This year we are bringing back the Random Draw Doubles Format. We will possibly have up to 30 holes but for sure the typical 28 we have been having for a couple years now. Everyone will play one round. Whichever team has the lowest score will for crowned the winners. We will pay between 5-10 teams non-cash prizes depending on amount of players
As always there will be 50/50 Ace and Longest Putt Pools for 5 dollars each. We will sell mulligans for 1 dollar each. Each player will have the option to buy one mulligan per hole if they choose. Mark it on your scorecard and pay for them at the end.
There will be a raffle for at least two new portable baskets that we know of for certain. We are going to try to come up with a third . Tickets will be sold for 1 dollar each, 6 for 5 or 30 for 20. We hope to have some extra stuff in the raffle as always
We almost reached the 10,000 dollar mark last year so that will be our goal this year. With this event all proceeds are split between go to our local Meals on Wheels Program and our local food panty K.A.I.R. We hope to see all the faces we have saw for years and hopefully many new faces. We welcome players of ALL skill levels to join us for this fun filled day as we play disc golf and raise money for our charities
