About this tournament
1 round of play
The KRP Flex Start Fundraiser is a one round, flex start event to help raise funds for the completion of Killingworth Recreational Park Disc Golf Course. While baskets are installed and the course has begun to break in, several more steps are in need of funding in order to complete this promising layout. This includes tee signs, directional signage, and additional/alternate tee pads.
All proceeds from your entry fee (> 75%) will go directly toward course completion. A small player pack/swag bag will be provided for each player to commemorate your attendance and thank you for participating (~$10/15 retail value).
Top finishers from each division (1-3, depending on size of division) will be awarded with a custom KRP trophy after the conclusion of the event. Full results and scores will be posted on DiscGolfScene shortly after final cards are submitted.
Players may begin their round any time between 10 am and 2 pm. Groups must be between 2 and 4 players - anyone looking for a group is encouraged to use the "Comments" page to organize start times. Parties 5 or larger should split into two or more groups to encourage social distancing and to maintain speed of play.
There are 6 divisions, with 3 ability/age levels:
-MA1/FA1 is for mixed/female players with competitive/tournament experience. These divisions will play the long layout, including marked out of bounds.
-MA3/FA3 is for new, less experienced players with no/limited competitive experience. These divisions will play a mix of existing and modified/short tees and will NOT play with out of bounds.
-MJ15/FJ15 is for youths, ages 15 and under. These divisions will play a mix of existing and modified/short tees and will NOT play with out of bounds.
