    Pick up your child's players pack disc provided by CODGC
    Play a few holes. Warm up.

    9:45am - 10:00am

    I will call everyone into tournament central for an Introduction and welcoming ceremony
    I will go over a few rules and talk about the days event.

    10:10am

    1st round Tee -off
    2 consecutive rounds of 9 holes =18 holes total
    A parent will be asked to go out with each group to keep score.
    We will provide the scorekeeper with paper and pencil to keep score on.

    12:00pm - 1:00pm

    Scorekeepers turn in score cards
    Break time:
    Lunch will be provided for players.
    Hot dogs,veggie burgers, chips, fruit, cookies, lemonade and water.
    Side game - Kids can participate according to their age in a Fast putting
    contest. The goal is to putt as many discs as you can into the basket in 10 seconds. I will be asking a parent to volunteer and record scores.

    1:10pm - 2:15pm

    Final nine:
    2nd round tee off
    One round of 9 holes
    A parent will be asked to go out with each group to keep score.
    We will provide scorekeeper with paper and pencil to keep scores on.

    2:30pm - 3:30pm

    Scorekeepers turn in scorecards
    Tie breaker throw off for 1st place only
    If there is a tie for 1st place at the end of the 3 rounds. These players will start on hole One and continue playing until one player shoots the lower score.
    Closest to the pin (CTP) throw off to basket 9 if no one aces

About this tournament

This event is for boys and girls ages 6-12 yrs old.

Welcome to our 3rd annual Juniors event here at Seventh Mountain Resort
Our goal is to keep it simple and FUN!

Check in at tournament central. We will be stationed by hole 9.
I will have a short introduction and go over some rules as listed below.
There will be NO OB's.
If the disc lands on pavement, bring disc back onto fairway with a meter relief.
Player must try to stand behind their disc / mini when throwing or putting.

We have a scoreboard with numbers 1-9 on it. This tells you what tee your child will start on.
Your child's name will be on a card under the number that designates his tee assignment. Kids will play in groups of 3 or 4.

We ask one parent to volunteer to go out with each group to keep score for the kids. And turn in the scorecard after the round. Parents/siblings can go follow the group, but
Please be respectful of the players and try to be quiet.

To begin play I will loudly yell START. The player whose name is first on the card throws first and so on. To play the next hole player with the lowest score from the previous hole goes first


First round the kids will play 2 consecutive rounds of 9 holes 18 total holes played.
They will break for lunch and participate in a fast putting game according to age division.
Second round the kids will play one round of 9 holes.

Staff will complete the scoring. If there is a tie for 1st place there will be a playoff starting on hole one.
If no one hits an ace during the round we will have a CTP playoff

I ask parents not to coach their kids during the event unless the child askes. It's a good idea to play with your child before the event and teach them some basic rules like whoever is furthest out goes first. Take your time, focus, smile and have fun.
So what if they missed the fairway or are putting for a double bogie.
LOL haven't we all. This event is about making new friends, playing disc golf and having a good experience.
