About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Celebrating National Disc Golf Day, Inside The Chains Supported by Innova will be a single-day event at Rhyolite Park DGC in Castle Rock, CO August 3, 2024.
Two rounds of 18 holes with shotgun start. Second round players meeting starts 1.5 hours after last card turned in from first round.
Awards ceremony soon after completion of second round and putting competition finals. We will be using the PDGA Live scoring app.
Plus a 9-hole mini disc golf course and a putting competition for extra fun while raising money for local charity. Both can be played anytime by anyone, as many times as you want until the second round players meeting when all extra fun scorecards must be turned in Saturday afternoon. Then a final putting round for top contenders will happen right before the awards ceremony in front of the crowd to decide winners. Both mini disc golf and putting can be played again and again by buying another scorecard from TD to record a better score and raise more money for charity.
Caddies, spectators, mini & putting players use the NCS division to receive a $5 pass, for every person on-site not competing in the PDGA tournament.
True amateur event meaning all amateur divisions will get the same larger player pack and only top contenders receive a trophy too.
Official tournament charity will be E.D.G.E. Education Disc Golf Experience who provides curriculum, equipment, and supply packages for all school levels.
Here is a link to the new PDGA Rules in effect for all 2024 tournaments. https://www.pdga.com/news/pdga-official-rules-disc-golf-and-competition-manual-updated-2024
I offer all divisions in the beginning then consolidate with permission from everyone involved closer to the event.
All registrations include the following pass-through fees: $3 Greens fee, $3 porta-potty rental, $2 PDGA fee, $2 TD fee.
