About this tournament
We are excited to have you on Sunday, September 8th @ 10:30am for a mysterious tournament! This is the Infinite Discs Mystery Challenge, as a vendor of pretty much every disc brand known to man, Infinite is opening up their vault!
Each participant gets a matching mini marker and a drawstring towel bag, but the specific discs you’ll receive remain a surprise until the event begins. This challenge tests your adaptability and skill in throwing new and unknown disc golf discs.
This will be a 1 day, unsanctioned tournament. 3 disc challenge format. Cost is $30, cash only.
Layout: 20 holes (2 runs thru the course). Standard tournament OB + Cross the path on 7 + Stacked basket on ten.
Start Time: Shotgun start @ 10:30am. Signup sheet for your starting hole will be available on the morning of the tournament, show up early to guarantee your cardmates!
Players Packs: Each player pack will come pre-packaged in a one-of-a-kind towel bag as you can see in the attached images. In addition to the discs and the towel bag, there will also be a Mystery Challenge mini included with each pack. You will not be able to choose the discs in your bag, and you will be the first person to open your bag, the TDs aren't peeking! Every players pack will contain 1 premium mid range and 1 premium driver.
Discs: You will be able to select a putter in addition to the mid range and driver in your pack. Criteria for what makes a putter is based on what the manufacturer refers to it as. For example, a disc that is only referred to as an "approach" disc is unlikely to be allowed as a putter compared to a disc that is referred to as a "putt/approach" disc.
EXTRA PACKS: There is an option for you to show extra support for the club and give yourself a potential edge by buying multiple player's packs. In this case, players who purchase extra packs will still be limited to 3 discs but will be able to mix and match pack discs, for example 2 mids and a putter, or 2 drivers and a putter.
Ace Pot: $5. If no aces are hit we will decide the pot with a (true) ring of fire competition. No splitting!
Prizes: The top three finishers in both the mixed division and the female division will receive a commemorative "champion" disc from Infinite and a hand made trophy!
