About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Welcome to the Indiana County Fall Open! This two round PDGA sanctioned event will take place at two very different disc golf courses. Test your disc golf skills at the tight and technical wooded Indiana pa newcomer, The Gorge and then the classic Western pennsylvania park style course, College Lodge.
With your entry fee into the event you will get a MVP Driver and a MVP Putter (disc selection is shown in the picture tab, and is first come first serve), a chance at a ctp for each division (with at least 2 participants), trophies, payout for each division (with at least 4 participants), one free attempt to test your arm speed with the radar gun, and a full day of disc golf in Indiana, pa.
Anyone that signs up before Thursday September 14th will get an additional disc as part of their players pack.
Prizes for the event will be awarded to the top 40% of each field and trophies will be presented to the top teams in each division.
There will be a radar gun available to test your arm speed if you would like. The first throw is on us. The following throws will be $1 a throw or $5 for 6 throws. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest arm in each division!!
Children age 13 and under must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times.
PDGA policy here: https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/113
Tee assignments:
MA1- Blue at College Lodge/ White at Gorge
MA40+, MA2, MA3, FA1 and FA2- White at College Lodge/ White at Gorge
MA4, FA3, & J18- Red at College Lodge/ Red at the Gorge
Reminder*
First round starting tees are determined by sign up order. The earlier you sign up the closer to tournament HQ you start.
Second round starting tees are of course determined by placement after the first round
Ace pot will be $2. If it is not hit during the event, there will be a throw off at the end of the event for half of the pot. Ace pot is available and will be for all divisions both rounds. Each division will also have its own separate ctp holes (only for the round at the Gorge).
All playoffs will be sudden death beginning on Holes 1, 16-18 at the Gorge and repeating if needed.
Division sizes are limited so get in to Indiana county's first fall event in years while you can!
