About this tournament
2 rounds of play
This is the inaugural Triples at Beal tournament. 2 rounds, with two different formats for each round.
There are two divisions, PRO and AM. Teams must meet the rating requirements for the respected divisions. We will review the total for the team ratings as teams sign up. If individual ratings go up after sign-up, we will communicate with the teams and adjust their division accordingly. Please communicate if a team member does not have a rating. We would like to use league scores or comparable rounds to help determine team ratings.
No substitutes unless you are able to change the individual prior to the registration closing. We will review any new team members and make sure the team total still qualifies for said division.
NO AMAETUER TEAM MEMBER CAN BE 960+ RATED. Even if the the team rating total is less that 2789, a team with an individual who has a 960+ rating must play the PRO division.
Round 1: Best Shot - each team member throws and the team determines which shot they would like to select to throw from next. The entire team will play from that shot.
Round 2: Florida Scramble - each team member throws off the first tee and you determine the shot you would like to select to throw from next. The team member whose shot was selected CANNOT throw the next shot, and the other two team members will throw. For the rest of the round you will only have two people from the team throwing from a particular shot, whether off the tee or putting.
OB Notes will be posted via the comment section of discgolfscene. They will also be available via the UDisc event that will be created for Triples at Beal.
Pro division will play from the GOLD PADS
Am division will play from the BLUE PADS
Pro division will receive cash payout (40% of the field)
Am division will receive cash payout (40% of the field)
Trophies will be awarded to the winning teams of each division. No ace pot. If you hit one, congrats, hopefully your card mates are participating members of the 51 Club.
