About this tournament
1 round of play
We have two goals for this event
1. Profits go towards helping men in prison to prepare for life after release. The funds will also go towards helping high school students understand how to overcome mental health issues.
2. We want this event to create an awesome experience for the disc golf community.
Competitions
1. Ring of Fire- all players form a circle around the basket. Players throw at the same time. Those who made their putt play in the next round. Play continues until only one person remains. (This competition will take place twice)
2. Distance competition-Because of limited space, competitors will throw a 5 speed disc, or slower. Best of 3 throws. (Under the pavilion will be the perfect place to tee off and showcase your long range skills with a midrange)
3. Ace Race- 25 hole layout on UDisc. Players will be assigned a starting hole for this shotgun start. Paper scorecards will be provided. Each player will throw two drives at each basket. Keep track of number of aces and metal hits. Metal hits will be the tie breakers. (This will be explained in more detail in players meeting.) (All holes are between 100’ and 200’)
